Hi, I'm Zoe — the eye behind Zoe Elizabeth Media. I'm a candid, documentary-style photographer based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, working with brands, performers, and live events across the Southeast — Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville, and just about anywhere the right project takes me.
I fell deeply in love with photography when I started capturing the essence of the human experience — documenting people in their spaces and witnessing their connections with one another. That's still what drives me.
What captivates me most are the small, fleeting moments that usually go unnoticed: the ordinary, in-between instances we glide right past without a second thought. There's so much beauty there — so much of who we are lives in those movements — and I find myself endlessly drawn to the parts of ourselves that quietly reveal themselves in them.
I read the energy of a room and freeze it in time. Every person, brand, and performance carries its own distinct energy, and my craft is adapting to yours. My work is candid first and color-rich — I shoot for bold, true-to-life tones and keep my editing light, so your images look the way the moment actually felt, not like a filter. And while I love letting real moments unfold on their own, I'm always happy to offer gentle direction when you want it, so even the posed shots stay relaxed and unmistakably you.
I am proud to serve everyone. I do not discriminate against race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, nationality, religion, culture, gender identity, or expression. I am committed to welcoming all people into my life and into my art.
If that sounds like your kind of photographer, I'd love to hear what you're dreaming up.
